A 20km high level walk. Approx 8-9hrs
|
Arran - a high level walk Caisteal Abhail to Beinn Nuis (20km). The day will start on the 7.00am ferry. Returning on the 7.20pm. We will take the bus to the North Glen Sannox car park. From there we will head up Caisteal Abhail, then Cir Mhor, follow the path beside the A'Chir ridge onto Beinn Tarsuinn and finally Beinn Nuis before descending into Glen Rosa and back to the fery. |

Meet in the Rowardennan Hotel late evening. Start walk from Rowardennan carpark at midnight. Plan to go up Ben Lomond by night and be on the summit to see the sunrise as it's the longest day of the year. What an excuse for a mad walk! |

Mon 30th June Rowardenen - Inveranan (14 miles), staing at Rose Cottage
Tues 01st July, Inveranan - Tyndrum (14 miles), staying at Glengarry
Wed 02nd July, Tyndrum - Kingshouse (19 miles), staying at Elsie Robertson's B&B, Kinlochleven (picked up from Kingshouse)
Thurs 03rd July, Kingshouse - Kinlochleven (9 miles), staying at Elsie Robertson's B&B.
Fri 04th July Kinlochleven - Fort William (14 miles). Accommodation still to be booked.
Anyone willing to join us would be most welcome (the more the merrier). If you want to hook up for certain days that would be fine. Please book own accommodation. Luggage can be transported by travel-lite. If you need more information or plan to join us please get in touch. |
