Hi, I Live in Irvine, have spent many years as an avid hillwalker, wild camper, angler, mountain biker.
recently went on a team building day which included a bit of indoor wall , climbing and high ropes work, enjoyed it so much that I would like to find out more and learn more about rock climbing. Not sure where to start though?
Can someone advise?

Hello Irene, (Abi)Gail and Dorothy, the walk in the Pentlands was just what was needed, the scenery amazing and the company was comparable.

Still have sore legs, however have followed Gails advice and ebayed myself a pair of boots, now to get waterproofs.

cant wait to see the rest of the country I have lived in for 14 years and never quite seen. Now need to get walking and get fitter, then I can join you wrestling bears on the peak of ben nevis armed with only my teeth and a small spork :)

Was a good day, looking forward to the next one.

Hans.

I found your website to be very interesting. Many of the places that you mention are familiar to me and brought back some fond memories. I was in this area in July earlier this year and it is a truly fantastic place. Mick

Hello! Irene, Jackie, Linda and Shirley,

I have been meaning to send this message for a while, so apologies for being a bit late. It was a great to meet you on the West Highland Way and I wanted to thank you for being such good company and keeping an eye on me (from a distance) on the days when Margarita was having a wee rest.
Final total for fund was 1,350 pounds.

Cina, Margarita and I hope to do something again next year but we are not sure what. We may try out some trails in Switzerland for a few days, depending on how things are at home.

You were just an inspiration to us and the craic was pretty good too.

I have been having a wee read of your exploits and the events look interesting and Yes, I have to say it, very scary! Wish you all well and hope to bump into you again one of these days, but not from a great height! You have a good way with words Irene. When I read your blurb about the walks you have been on I can almost visualise the terrain. You will have to write a Craggy Mountianeering book.

If you hear from the mad nurses from western Glasgow - Jackie, Helen and Lynn, say hello from me and don't forget to visit Margarita's gallery if you get a chance. (no I am not on commission)

Possibly, this is the wrong part of your website to put this message but I am just a wee bit daft!!

Cheers,
Mary
